Absolutely No Knitting Content

Knitting? What's knitting when you have a Jeep and it is finally warm enough to go topless?! OK. I have to brag a little about a recent addition to our family. You see I used to have a Jeep way back when, before husband and child when I used to have to drive 1/2 mile into the woods to get to the little cabin I used to live in without running water or plumbing that I still have to tell you all about. But when I met my husband and we started a family we had to trade the incredibly impractical Jeep in for a much more family friendly car. Well, I have always longed for my Jeep back. Every car I get into I think, yeah it's a nice car, but it's not a Jeep. I can't explain it. If you have a Jeep you know what I am talking about. So, when my DH switched his work hours we found ourselves needing a second car (well there is a third but that one is kept safe and sound all through the winter and treated like an endangered species the rest of the year). The answer was clear I needed to have another Jeep. So last month we found a good used one and brought it home. Yesterday, we took it on it's first topless voyage of the season.

There is nothing like a Jeep. Especially with the top down. Especially on a beautiful spring day in the Berkshires. Especially with my little guy yelling whhhheeee! in the back. Jeep ownership is even sweeter this time around.

P.S. I am just kidding about the knitting. My current WIP was tucked away safely in the back so it wouldn't blow away :-)

Oh Yeah for you!!!!! I had a man with a jeep once, I guess that's close enough cause I can definitely relate to how you feel about them! :)

I love Jeeps. My husband restored a 1948 Willy's Jeep, which we had for many years. When we moved to Syracuse, we sold it. On a nice day, I always think about going topless!

Ah, a Jeep! My parents own one, and they are awesome. You look very happy in yours.

I think almost anything topless can be fun! (;>)

Nice jeep and your raglan will adorn it well. I'm suprised Jess hasn't posted - her love of jeeps surpasses pretty much anybody I know.

Nothing like soaring down the road with the wind in your hair. Too bad I have to make do with my sunroof ;(
