Need a Hand?

I feel like it has been a while since I have posted knitting content though I have been knitting along this whole time. Here is my Rhinebeck Scarf that I finished just as we pulled into the parking lot but never ended up needing since it was such a beautiful day. But, take a look at that shawl pin I picked up at the fair. I actually bought something besides yarn. :-)

A while back I posted some "in progress mittens" that are destined to warm the hands of Dave and Judy, the lovely farming husband and wife team, over at Lakeview Orchard where we get all of our apples, maple syrup, honey and a great deal of our produce. These have been done for a while now but we had like 5 seconds of sun today so I decided to seize the moment and take some pictures before they wind up in their new home. This pair below is for Dave. They are slightly fulled to add some strength and durability to the mittens.

Here is Judy's pair.

And since I had just a wee bit of leftover yarn I whipped up some quick fingerless mitts for myself that I haven't taken off since I finished them. (Now you can see that shawl pin a little better too.)

Oh, and just so you don't think I have some strange hand fetish or that all I can knit are mittens take a look at this little bunny I am working on and while you're at it check out the little guy that Julia is making too! Funny, both our blogs were attacked this past weekend and we each coped by crafting the same cutie critter! Ok. Well I better go give him some arms and legs, eh? Till next time...

Beautiful scarf and that pin looks great with it. I adore photos with you in them because you always look so gorgeous!!! I love your mittens too, I only wished I could wear winter accessories here.

Dave and Judy are lucky! Those are beautiful mittens.

Your Rhinebeck scarf is great and the pin is beautiful. What yarn did you use for the scarf? And which vendor was selling those pins? I've got questions that need answering!

And how do those fingerless mittens do in the shower? (grin) I could use a pair of them RIGHT NOW. I'm freezing in my house because it's too early to turn on the heat (or so Tom says).

Cute bunny. The Blogspirit Coping Bunny!

Oh, there's the bunny, cute! You're making an elegant natural friend, as opposed to the neon ones, eh? ;-) I finally finished mine after I THOUGHT the needles were missing for almost 2 weeks...
Still no pictures saved... I really don't have the nerve to re-post everything yet...
